San Antonio
San Antonio is a city located in Bexar County, Texas, USA. Founded in 1718 by Father Antonio Olivares, the 412 square mile city has a residential population of 1,373,668 as of July 1, 2009. It is the 7th largest city in the USA, and 2nd largest city in the lone star state of Texas. San Antonio is famous for "the Alamo" in the downtown district and is also home to four military bases. Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Base, Fort Sam Houston, and Brooks City Base, are all a part of the city.
